About Integral8

A premium coaching practice built for senior leaders operating deep in complexity, founded by someone who has lived that reality from the inside.

The work comes from lived experience, not just professional training.

I started my career in commercial real estate in London, rising to become CEO of a FTSE 250 property company in my late thirties, appointed during the global financial crisis. I have sat in a chair similar to the one many of the leaders I now work with, sit in. I understand the weight of final accountability, the loneliness of decisions that cannot be shared, and the quiet erosion that sustained pressure creates when there is nowhere to take it. That experience taught me something I could not have learned from the outside: that the conventional tools of leadership: strategy, expertise, effort, discipline, are necessary but not sufficient when the environment becomes genuinely complex.

What matters at that level is something less visible: the quality of a leader's inner condition, the trust in their relationships, their capacity to read the system they are part of, and whether how they act under pressure reflects who they actually want to be. I founded Integral8 because I wanted to share the kind of support I wanted when I needed it: a space where the whole picture of leadership is held, not just the part that is easiest to see or to measure.

What makes this work distinctive.

The whole leader, not just the visible one.

The work addresses what drives behaviour as much as behaviour itself: how you think under pressure, how you regulate when the stakes are high, what you carry that you rarely acknowledge or name, and how these inner conditions shape every decision you make.

Grounded in real consequence, not theory.

The work is shaped by your actual leadership challenges: the conversations you are avoiding, the decisions you are wrestling with, the relationships that are stuck. Nothing is hypothetical. The depth comes from working with what is live, not just applying frameworks.

Multi-dimensional by design.

Judgement quality depends on more than one thing. The work addresses inner clarity, relational capacity, behavioural precision, and systemic awareness, because these are connected, and addressing only one while ignoring the others limits what can shift.

Bespoke, not packaged.

There is no set curriculum, no predetermined pathway, no one-size-fits-all model. Every engagement is designed around you: your context, your challenges, and what matters most in the leadership you are actually exercising.

A peer relationship, not a coaching hierarchy.

I have been a CEO. I have sat in a chair similar to yours and am a professionally qualified coach. The relationship is one of serious intellectual and developmental partnership between people who understand the weight of senior leadership, not just a coach dispensing wisdom from outside the arena.

Developmentally deep, practically grounded.

The approach draws on the most rigorous traditions of human development, including developmental psychology, physiological regulation, and contemplative practice. But none of this is imposed or front-loaded. It shows up in the quality, depth, and precision of the work.

"I worked with Peter over the course of a year. I looked forward to our sessions and always came away with an unexpected fresh outlook! The thinking has stayed with me and I feel much more energised as a result!"

Integral8 is the practice.
Peter is its founding authority.

The work is built on Peter's lived experience and professional depth, but the brand is designed to hold more than one person over time. The name reflects the approach: an integrated, whole-person perspective on leadership that addresses the inner conditions, relational dynamics, behavioural capacity, and systemic awareness that together determine the quality of judgement under pressure.

"Peter is an amazing coach. For a start, he has real hard-edge commercial experience, he has been a CEO, which gives him huge business credibility. But he also has great warmth, compassion and empathy. The resulting style is a compelling mixture of challenge and support, fun and depth, pace and peace. Anyone getting him as a coach is lucky indeed. I've seen the results and he is transformational."
